BBC East Midlands Today have a cosy chat with the LibLabCon and a carefully selected lynch mob

Some time back we were asked to submit a list of names who we’d like to be invited to sit in the audience of a so called “BBC debate” at the Albert Hall in Nottingham. No one from the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire list we submitted was invited.
The special BBC politics programme was aired last night and the panel featured Rushcliffe Tory Kenneth Clarke, Margaret Beckett for Labour in Derbyshire and Paul Holmes the Lib Dems Chesterfield Candidate.
The BNP spokesman for the Event was Rev Robert West who was put amongst the BBC’s carefully selected lynch mob who were ordered by the good old Beeb to hiss and jeer when he spoke.
However even though Rev West was unceremoniously thrown into lions den, he came out fighting. Our man was the only one to mention immigration and give any real solutions.
Marie Ashby asked the candidates the question “How does your party intend to help first time buyers get a foot on the housing ladder?”
Ken Clarke didn’t have any answers and baffled on about bubbles and the need to have a more stable housing market but offered up no solution.
The Lib Dem burped out that local authorities should have more control to build houses but didn’t address the elephant in the room.
Margret Hodge for Labour talked of building more houses because “there aren’t enough of them” she also went on about targets, but seemed oblivious of the fact that the construction industry is depressed because people can’t afford to buy.
She said there was loads of schemes out there to help first time buyers but nobody knows about them, she didn’t tell us about them either.
Margret also pushed the blame away from Labour by blaming the electorate and saying “you’ve borrowed too much, you’ve spent too much” no mention of the fact that foreigners have been allowed to flood into the country and are queuing up for British homes.
Rev Robert West for the BNP refreshingly provided some real answers. He started off by saying “For first time buyers it’s a very difficult question, it’s a massive problem being caused over many decades by an immigration invasion” at this point the BBC’s carefully selected audience of LibLabCon supporters started to hiss and boo and Marie Ashby has to shout out “let him make his point”.
Rev West undeterred carried on “…this is an immigration invasion and it means there’s a massive population explosion, tsunami levels of an increase in population which creates a massive demand [for houses]. Labour want to bury us under one big concrete slab.”
Marie Ashby then pointed out that the BNP would build more houses but we’d only allow British Citizens [black, brown, white and yellow] to live in them.
The Rev answered plainly “Yes, the British citizen, United Kingdom citizen would have to have first priority” and rightly so “Britain belongs to the people of Britain not to the rest of the world, we’re not open for colonization by the rest of the world, to suggest that we are is an absolute outrage in the eyes of the British people”
This was followed up by a question from the lynch mob who asked “you wheeled out an Asian gentleman in party broadcast, do you really think the public are going to be “duped” into thinking your not a racist party after what you’ve just said?”
Maybe the audience member heard something we didn’t, however Robert West gave the following excellent answer “No we’re not racist at all” the BBC lynch mob laughs and jeers at this point but the Rev bravely carries on “Racism is where you want to take over somebody else’s country, not when you want to look after your own country, lets be clear about that.”
Too right, racism would be trying to westernise another country, Afghanistan for example, or the colonization of Normanton in Derby or Hyson Green in Nottingham. Another member of the audience nearly captured on this point and says “so racism is conquering another country?” but then is quick to apply a guilt trip to herself and us all by branding all British racist!
The rest of the programme was fairly boring with the Beeb having a cosy chat with the LibLabCon who true to form offered no real answers. However it was nice to see the BNP answers getting a bit of air time even through a pre-prepared BBC lynch mob.
Housing is about supply AND demand which the BNP intends to deal with in equal measure. The BNP will end the immigration invasion put British people first for housing and rebuild our economy, these things together will get people into the jobs needed to afford to buy their first homes.
