East Midlands BNP Political Weather Forecast: Looking Good!
Posted on 04. Apr, 2010 by Cllr Lewis Allsebrook in BNP News, General Election, National News
The BNP will be standing a record number of candidates across the East Midlands this year. Although not everyone will have the REAL choice a BNP candidate provides, the increase in candidates is a massive move forward and proof that the BNP is Britain’s fastest growing political party.
The increase in candidates is also representative of the much wider area that the BNP has been campaigning in around the East Midlands over the last few years. BNP campaigns all over the region have endeared ever increasing numbers of people to the wholesome values of nationalist politics. Politics that sets real value on protecting communities, putting the traditional family unit first, sustainably rebuilding community infrastructure, and putting pride and self worth back into the people who have been downtrodden and ignored by successive Tory and New Labour regimes, so that together we can stand tall and make better our home cities, towns and villages.
Where there is a BNP candidate it is down to the party moving forward in a sustainable way on the ground at grass roots level. Each and every seat the BNP is standing has been funded locally by local people who have found hope and a voice in the BNP message and dug deep to make REAL change happen. These people are the true unsung heroes of BNP successes.
Across the East Midlands in 2005 the BNP stood 4 candidates, just five years on in 2010 this has increased to 34. Below is a map of the East Midlands showing where the BNP are making a stand. If where you live is blank unfortunately we’ve not reached you yet, but feel free to get in touch with us via the contact page on this site.
So what is the outlook in some of these constituencies for the BNP? Below find a Brief political weather forecast for seats in and around Amber Valley.
DERBYSHIRE
Amber Valley
The BNP have two local councillors in Amber Valley and our vote share of 5000 supporters is greater than the non-existent Liberal Democrats making the BNP the third largest party in Amber Valley.
To boot both the Tory and Labour Groups in Amber Valley are in turmoil. The Labour group has fallen out with some of their sitting councillors and one is rumoured to be standing against Labour in the local elections. The Tories have huge rifts with councillors publicly disagreeing with Tory policy and some even boycotting meetings in protest against their party.
The BNP Candidate Michael Clarke unlike the other candidates is brimming with charisma and grew up in the constituency. Support is growing for the BNP all the time in Amber Valley and putting us in for a real good chance to take this seat from the dreadful communist Judy Mallaber.
Bolsover
Bolsover will get their first chance to vote for a BNP parliamentary candidate in 2010. The fairly new group centred round Shirebrook is going from strength to strength.
This part of Derbyshire has been dominated by arrogant Labour politicians for years, and the Tories and Lib Dems appear to have given up fighting for seats on the council here. Devoid of even a sham choice residents in Langwith, desperate for something different even voted in the far-left extremist Respect party who’s communist leader George Galloway went on Big Brother to raise the profile of that ridiculous party. I’ve had personal experience of Bolsover’s Respect councillor and can conclusively tell you he is an obnoxious piece of work.
The newly formed Bolsover BNP group fought local elections last year and provided people with a real choice, their percentage vote in the European elections was one of the BNP’s highest in the East Midlands. I’m very hopeful that Bolsover BNP will be sending a MP to Westminster in the near future.
Derby North
The Derby group has been working tirelessly to rescue the City of Derby from the ills of colonisation. Although in the cities the BNP are fighting an up hill battle the number of votes coming out of the home of our historic cultural heritage are heartening to see. In the European election Derby returned over 5000 votes for the BNP.
I will be watching Derby closely, the quantity and quality of BNP leaflets going out there is very impressive. All election leaflets going out in Derby are now full colour glossy under our very successful Derby organiser Paul Hilliard.
Erewash
The Erewash group have fought five local by-elections in the last year and their group is moving forward exponentially. The last meeting held near Ilkeston raised over £2000 towards their election campaign.
The sitting Labour MP for Erewash, Liz Blackman has claimed over £900,000 in expenses during her time as an MP. A disgusting fact that has left struggling local people feeling betrayed by Labour. Our “Punish the Pigs” campaign went down well with people in Ilkeston and Long Eaton and bought many people into the BNP fold.
Mark Bailey the BNP candidate for Erewash has a good grasp of local issues and the things that matter to people. Mark has a straightforward, no-nonsense approach which gives you confidence that he would persistently push for positive change if elected.
Mid Derbysire
Mid Derbyshire is a new constituency which includes some very affluent areas north of Derby. The area includes area’s of Erewash and Amber Valley which had the option of a BNP candidate in 2005 so we felt it’s only fair that they keep getting a BNP candidate to vote for.
A very successful fundraising meeting in Derby allowed us to stand this additional seat. The Belper and Duffield area has not seen alot of grass roots activism by the BNP and our membership here is lower than in other parts of Derbyshire. We hope this election will allow us to lay deeper foundations in this area that we can build upon.
South Derbyshire
South Derbyshire’s main urban centre is Swadlincote. For some time now the local BNP group has been holding paper sales in the town with positive effects. The local members have recently split away from the Derby group to form a new BNP group.
A huge effort was put into a by-election just over a year ago for the Church Greasley seat on the district council. The BNP came a close second behind a sweaty Labour candidate. Support is strong for the BNP in South Derbyshire and we’re hopeful of a good result there.
NOTTINHAMSHIRE
Ashfield
The Ashfield BNP group has selected ex-Labour Mayor and Chairman, Edward Holmes to be their candidate.
Kirkby-in-Ashfield missed out on a BNP councillor for a mere 15 votes in past local elections and support is growing.
The Lib-Dems who benefited from the protest vote before the BNP arrived are falling from grace in Ashfield after their useless leader Jason Zadrozny recently lost leadership of the council in a coup that saw the LabCon and the independents join forces to stop him from calling the shots.
The Tories are almost non existent in Ashfield and the sitting Labour MP Geoff Hoon has been deselected by the local Labour group in favour of a women only shortlist parachuted in from outside.
Ashfield is all to play for with the three main parties in disarray a vacuum is forming that the BNP is poised to fill.
Broxtowe
Broxtowe is the stronghold of Labour MP Nick Palmer. Political engagement is unusually strong in Broxtowe from the three main parties. However Nick Palmer appears to be getting the endorsement from his LibCon chums who love him to bits.
With all three main parties backing Labour in Broxtowe the only REAL choice is a vote for the BNP.
